Color of the Month-July

When I think of July I think of Independence day, the American flag, fireworks and barbecues. So it's no wonder the Color of the Month for July is Red!

Some of these photos were taken on an iPhone and others were taken on a Nikon camera. Now, when  picking pictures for The Color of Month post I don't have any rules, for instance the shades of color can vary and are not limited to a specific shade of red.

Something New

I've been thinking of what I want to do with this little blog I've created and I thought it would be fun and a little challenging to have a monthly color.  So here is my first attempt at something new, so  for the month of June I picked  Tractor Yellow! Okay, I doubt that's an official name of a color but that's the best way to describe it.

These pictures were taken in Venice, Santa Monica and Whittier, California.
